Role Overview
As a Senior Software Engineer (SSE) at Wells Fargo, you will be responsible for leading moderately complex initiatives and working within a technology-driven environment. You will play a crucial role in designing, coding, testing, debugging, and maintaining applications and infrastructure to enhance LoanIQ and DevOps workflows.
Key Responsibilities
• Lead technical initiatives: Drive the development and implementation of LoanIQ and DevOps solutions within a highly regulated financial environment.
• Strategic planning: Contribute to large-scale planning strategies, ensuring alignment with business goals.
• Software development lifecycle (SDLC): Engage in end-to-end development activities, including designing, coding, testing, debugging, and documentation.
• Technical troubleshooting: Review and resolve moderately complex technical challenges that require an in-depth evaluation of technologies and procedures.
• Collaboration & Leadership: Act as a key escalation point for technical issues while mentoring junior developers and collaborating with cross-functional teams.
• Risk & Compliance Management: Ensure adherence to Wells Fargo’s stringent compliance requirements while driving risk mitigation efforts.
Required Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you should possess the following:
• 4+ years of software engineering experience, or equivalent demonstrated through work experience, training, or military background.
• Expertise in LoanIQ, DevOps, and financial technology solutions.
• Strong programming skills in Java, Python, or similar languages.
• Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines, Kubernetes, Docker, and cloud technologies.
• Understanding of financial systems architecture, regulatory compliance, and risk management.
• Ability to troubleshoot complex software issues and optimize application performance.
