Role Overview
As an AWS Cloud Infra Admin, you will be responsible for managing and optimizing IBM’s cloud infrastructure. Your role will involve configuring cloud resources, ensuring security compliance, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to enhance cloud-based solutions. Key Responsibilities
• Manage and optimize cloud infrastructure to ensure high availability and performance.
• Configure and deploy applications on AWS and Azure while following best practices.
• Monitor and troubleshoot cloud services to ensure optimal functionality and security compliance.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, deploy, and maintain cloud solutions.
• Maintain detailed technical documentation, including troubleshooting guides and knowledge base articles.
• Implement cloud security best practices, ensuring IAM policies are correctly enforced.
• Handle infrastructure provisioning and deprovisioning, including compute, storage, and networking resources.
• Log cases with Cloud Service Providers and coordinate resolutions efficiently.
• Support hybrid cloud solutions and work on multi-cloud strategies to enhance scalability and flexibility.
• Administer Windows and Linux systems within a cloud environment, ensuring smooth operations.
• Perform data backup, archiving, and disaster recovery planning to safeguard critical information.
Required Qualifications
To succeed in this role, you must have:
• Experience: Minimum of 5+ years in cloud administration (L3 Level expertise).
• AWS Expertise: Hands-on experience with services like EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, IAM, Transit Gateway, VPC, CloudWatch, ALB, Firewalls, and more.
• Azure Knowledge: Strong understanding of VMs, Azure AD, Azure Storage, Entra ID, VNet, Load Balancer, Firewalls, and other critical Azure services.
• Infrastructure as Code (IaC): Experience with Terraform, CloudFormation, and ARM Templates for automated infrastructure management.
• Cloud Security Best Practices: Deep knowledge of IAM policies and compliance standards such as ISO, SOC, HIPAA, etc.
• Problem-Solving Skills: Strong troubleshooting and debugging capabilities for cloud-related issues.
• Hybrid and Multi-Cloud Strategy Experience: Ability to integrate and manage hybrid cloud environments.
• Technical Documentation Skills: Capability to create detailed technical guides for internal and external use.
